Houston Cy-Fair Lion's Club Eighth Annual Biking for Sight Century Bike Ride

Sunday September 30, 2007 8:00 AM.
Montgomery Athletic Complex (across from high school), Montgomery, TX

Cycle through some of the most beautiful Texas landscape in Montgomery and Grimes Counties. The 24 mile route takes you past an exotic animal farm, while the 40, 62, and 100 mile routes take you through the Sam Houston National Forest. The 62 and 100 mile routes have hills, perfect training for the Bike to the Beach bike ride.

Directions: From Houston, take I-45 North to Conroe. Go West on State Highway 105 across Lake Conroe. One mile past the intersection of State Route 105 and FM 149 in Montgomery, the athletic complex sits on the right..

Registration and Packet pick-up:
$ 20 if postmarked before September 1, 2007. Includes a T-shirt
$ 25 after September 1, 2007. Includes a T-shirt if registration received by September 15, 2007.
$ 30 DAY OF RIDE

Safety Rules:
    The use of an ANSI or Snell approved safety helmet is required for all participants regardless of age or route ridden.

    Helmets must be worn at all times while on the bicycle.

    No Head Phones.

    All traffic rules must be obeyed. We ride on state highways, and must share the road with vehicular traffic. Ride on the shoulder if possible, and no more than two abreast at all times.
